appt day

Had my weekly appointments today, they did another ffn test at high risk doctor, it came back positive, but doc said they aren't concerned cervix came back longer at 1.8, no real contractions I just go back in a week. regular ob appt uneventful

ob/gyn

Had a regular ob/gyn appt on fri, they just hooked me up to the fetal monitor machine, no contractions, was happy I did not have to be poked and prodded that appointment. My husband wanted to know why they did not check cervix I told him its because they just did it on mon he was like this is a different office I told him they share info. Doc said he is looking at inducing at 37 or 38 weeks. So it looks like I will have a taurus.

My mom purchased a graco infant seat and a maxi cosi convertabile car seat. We are hoping to get a bugaboo on this sale site she shops on they hold private sales for three days, and then a new sale starts she got the maxi cosi at 40% off. If anyone would like a invite send me your email. Of course there is something in it for me, when you make your first purchase I get a 10.00 credit, but clothes are on sale anywhere from 20% to 70% off the clothes you see in those expensive boutiques, and then of course baby gear like I said before maxi cosi, graco, and they just had a uppa stroller sale, but I have my heart set on getting a bugaboo. Its geared to mothers, babys, and children so again leave a email if you would like a invite.

Follow up Peri Appt

Had peri appointment to do the F test, it came back negative, cervix is alot shorter at 1.2 now but since cervix is still hard and closed and it is not shortened near the stitch she said I can continue to do bedrest at home. The bad news of the day is now I am on insulin sugars were fine you could tell they are creeping up, doc said since I am on bedrest and cannot do any excercise I will need to be on insulin at some point in this pregnancy, so best to start it now, and not when sugars are out of control.

Next milestone lets hope I make it to 28 weeks.

Peri appt

Had another appt today baby is measuring 1 lb 14 oz she is in the 55th percentile for her gest. age, cervix is not doing good it went down to a 2.0 so have to go back on monday to do the Fggn test and make sure my cervix is not below a 2.0 if i fail either of these tasks then it will be back in the hospital for me.

I forgot to update about peri appt, on Fri cervix length is now at 2.5 which is still short but I am happy it seems to be getting longer and not shorter, also had a appt with regular ob/gyn he said I will definately be on bedrest until 34 weeks.

Peri Appointment

Had my peri appointment, cervix is still measuring short, I am on bed rest until he says so, he told me I should be more worried about what is in my hospital bag, than when I will return at work, he said at any appointment he can readmitt me in the hospital so don't be surprised if it happens, I am on leave from work till April 5th.

Surgery Day

Finally by 7pm nurse came in and said urine test came back fine surgery tommorrow, no eating after midnight, nurse woke me at 6am and told me surgery was at 9am they would come and get me at 8am so I need to change in a gown, I needed help getting in the gown because of my IV, my husband had spent the night so he helped me get in the gown, they wheeled me in the stretcher to the prep area, the anestitheologist came in to discuss my options be put to sleep or epidural, said he recommended epidural it was easier on the baby. I chose the epidural, he comes back has me get in fetal position and says you are going to feel a pinch, I guess I got stressed out I heart the blood pressure machine start beeping his assistant said her blood pressure has skyrocketed, the doc tells her give her 1cc of something to help me relax, he finishes the epidural and then all the sudden I get hot, and dizzy and feel like I just want to barf, my husband comes in and says whats wrong I tell him I don't feel good, the doc says we gave her something to relax and it brought her blood pressure down real low, I started crying I was just want to throw up I wanted to roll over to try to barf but couldn't because the epidural was worked I was numb from belly button down. The doc tells his assistant to give me some ephindrene I think, and then they start asking me over and over my name and birth date, my husband was like what are you doing, we are trying to stop her from passing out until her pressure comes back he starts shaking my bed, I wanted to kick him but couldn't move my legs, then my surgery doc comes in lets move her I am ready, while they are wheeling me I am moaning doctor says don't let her throw up that will cause her to contract and make it hard for me to stitch, by the time we get to the operating room, I feel so much better, doc must of gave me alot in my epidural I did not feel a thing, it took forever for the epidural to wear off, the doc said when it wore off I could go home, they wheeled me back to the room it took 2 hours for the epidural to wear off, and then I needed some pain meds took a nap woke up at 4pm, and finally was sent home at 4pm, I am now on bedrest for a week until my appointment on thursday.
